Soulmates transcend gender, age, race, and other distinctions. To me, a soulmate is someone through whom you see a part of yourself—your beliefs, values, or even the way you live.

We learn a lot about a person by the way they respond when we are at our worst. The way my husband responds has brought me to a deeper and more beautiful understanding of vulnerability.
