Losing my mom was the hardest thing I have been through, and I still struggle with her absence every single day. Now, whenever I visit Santa Cruz, it is the only place I go to talk to her.

Giving back looks different for every individual, but I encourage you to look beyond yourself today and challenge yourself to be better. I also want to remind you that it is okay to let go.

On this Global Beatles Day, I remember all the times the Fab Four have brought me comfort. A lot in my life is going to change this year, but I know for certain the presence of The Beatles will not.
