Embracing the unpredictable mystery of the future prepares us for the unexpected. We become more flexible, tolerant, and adaptive to change when we accept that we can’t control everything.

Reflecting on what the past 10 or 20 years of my life have been, I think about what I would tell my younger self. I would tell her that I believe her, and she is right to listen to that inner voice.
